Business case
The NotionCMS story
- Problem: agency with many clients, each with a hosted CMS.
- Problem: my time managing many individual servers and Ghost upgrades is too high.
- Problem: my monthly Digital Ocean bill is growing (even at 5-10/droplet).
- Problem: I am bogged down having to manage logins for each client and their team.
- Problem: Ghost CMS has limited content structure and I find myself constantly hacking it to make it work the way I want.
Solution: just use Notion?
- Solution: all of my customer content used in each of their sites lives in one portal, but remains isolated.
- Solution: no more time spent managing servers!
- Solution: Notion pricing is per user and about the same per month as I would spend on Digital Ocean. Oh well, I can still pass the bill on to the customer. 😄
- Solution: I just have to remember my Notion password. They control their accounts. Plus my team has access to everything they need without any headaches.
- Solution: Way more flexibility (we’ll see more soon) and a great user experience for content creators.
